 Consider this:​ The average traditional ​​divorce lasts 3 years and costs around $50,000 ($25,000 per side).

                  Much of the cost of Divorce can be attributed to the communication between two opposing attorneys. Every time your lawyer wants to communicate with opposing counsel, they spend substantial time creating an immaculate letter, so as to provide legal documentation, all on your dime. To make matters worse, you are held hostage by any unilateral decisions made by the opposing counsel. While you may be happy with a court decision or proposal, you will still need to pay for counsel if your soon-to-be-ex-spouse feels otherwise.

                As a result, in a Traditional Divorce, your initial payment is never your last. The real cost of your divorce is impossible to predict and virtually always exceeds your budget (In fact, some attorneys strategically stall the process in an effort to drain the opposing party of their funds until they are forced to concede!).

    Consider this: An experienced attorney can accurately predict the outcome of your divorce within the first 15 minutes of your consultation.  

             Because divorce attorneys make the vast majority of their income through divorce litigation, they are incentivized (consciously or unconsciously) to recommend that their clients litigate their issues through the Traditional Divorce process (Traditional Divorce = litigation). Attorneys also tend to give their clients the impression that the results of their cases are highly manipulatable, or that they can gain a tactical advantage, if only they had the right attorney who would fight for them. Unfortunately, that is false. Absent extenuating circumstances, the outcome of divorce cases are highly predictable.  Why spend years of your time and tens of thousands of dollars to simply arrive at the same outcome?  ​
